I was skeptical when buying this lens ADAPTER but after receiving it i was very happy with it. It easily fit on to my official NIKON lenses. im no professional photographer but i enjoy arty shots. this fisheye is perfect. it screws right onto the current lense of my nikon d40. there is obvious blurring around the edges but it doesnt bother me. overall a great purchase. the images given with the description of this item are exactly how the picutre looks

This adapter was affordable, and that was most important to me. It -is- very, very macro. I have literally touched objects with it without realizing how close I was. The fisheye has produced great photographs, but again, macro macro macro! For the price, you can't get any better. It's very substantial, I think it's actually heavier than the lens

Honestly, its not something you use everyday but, if you like to experiment like me, i think you will be happy with it.
